Dim Sum is the Traditional Chinese (Cantonese) dish that served when family member reunion or meets. It represents an important role in normal Chinese family life especially in the Provence of Canton and South areas of China.
Dim Sum involves small individual portions of food, usually served in a small steamer basket or on a small plate. Going for dim sum is usually known in Cantonese as going to "drink tea".
